Campus Wasserbillig

Luxembourg, at the confluence of the rivers Saur and Moselle. In the centre of Wasserbillig, between the railway station and the town hall, lies a large quarter surrounded by two-storey residential buildings. The aim here is to transform the existing campus with its school, sports and cultural facilities.

The new campus will be built in several phases, integrating the heterogeneous existing buildings and creating a green campus centre. The sports and cultural centre form a small campus of identifiable urban blocks. The common single-storey foyer connects all areas and is defined by a large preserved maple tree. Wooden structures and facades characterise large parts of the exterior and interior.
