2nd prize for school campus in Munich-Riem
From our explanations: The design aims at structuring the extensive range of required spaces in comprehensible, readable units, translating the term “school campus” on visual and organizational levels. Learning houses are grouped around landscaped yards which, although lying next to the surrounding streets, provide noise-protected open spaces. A hermetic expression is avoided by virtue of their transparency and the clear perceptibility of the built units; the new campus presents itself open, inviting, and integrative.
