2nd prize for the Hallenbad Süd indoor swimming pool in Tübingen

We are delighted that our design has been awarded 2nd prize and congratulate our competition team!

The jury praised the clear and concise division of the design into three interlocking buildings. It was impressed by the clever positioning on the site and the well-thought-out internal organisation, which, despite the cramped conditions, enables a good connection between the Neckar cycle path and the main entrance.

According to the jury, the large entrance with a foyer and open area is particularly noteworthy. It provides a direct view and easy access to the outdoor pool and ensures a logical and sensible distribution of the swimming areas for school classes and swimmers. The optional sauna area on the 2nd floor offers attractive views of the outdoor pool and the River Neckar and can be omitted without compromising the overall design.
