AIT-Award 2016 – 2nd prize for the aquatic centre in Courchevel

The recreation and wellness centre “Aquamotion” in Courchevel received the second prize within the category Sports/Leisure at this year's AIT-Awards. A total of 810 projects from 35 countries were nominated within 8 categories: Living, Hotel/Catering, Retail/Expo, Offices/Administration, Health/Care, Sports/Leisure, Public buildings/Education, Manufacture/Industry, and two new categories, Affordable Living and Newcomer.An international jury chose the winners in Hamburg on the 12th February 2016 in each category; the jury and editors of the AIT announced the winners on the 16th March 2016 in an awards ceremony during Light + Building in Frankfurt am Main.The winners this year are from France, Germany, Lithuania, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands.The AIT-Award exhibition will open on the 31st March 2016 in the ArchitekturSalon in Hamburg.
