The cityscape-defining high-rise of the Kreissparkasse receives through a very cautious and precise energetic refurbishment a new quality. The contemporary design of the offices as an open landscape using transparent installations creatives a bright and relaxed working atmosphere. The five-storey new building rounds off the entire complex logically. The scaled and natural-stone clad façades provide a new, attractive open space. The new Kreissparkasse provides an important contribution to the continued appreciation of the city centre and is an example for responsible building in the city.
