Hugo Häring Distinction 2017

The urban design proposal aims at creating a well-connected university campus which takes the site’s qualities further, forms concise and attractive public spaces, defines the position of each university and attributes clear addresses to both Duale Hochschule (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University) and Heilbronn University. In this, it had to be taken into account that the site will develop in several stages and must be able to adapt to developments over many years. Building types and materials must create, on the one hand, an unmistakable appearance, and, on the other, allow for modification in the course of the campus’s development.
