IOC/IAKS Award 2017 – Gold for Aquamotion

The IOC/IAKS Award and the IPC/IAKS Distinction are the most important international awards for sports, leisure, and recreation architecture. Every two years since 1987, outstanding examples of well-designed and at the same time highly serviceable sports and leisure facilities have received IOC/IAKS Awards.

Auer Weber are among this year's prizewinners: the Recreation and Wellness Spa in Courchevel was awarded the gold medal on November 7, 2017. The IOC/IAKS Awards judges, every one an internationally renowned personality, distinguished a total of four complexes with gold medals, seven with silver, and five with bronze medals. The IPC/IAKS Distinction for barrier-free sports facilities was given to six participants. The winning projects are located in 12 countries worldwide.
