First handball match in the Arena of Aix-en-Provence

The PAUC (Pays d'Aix Université Club Handball), playing in the French first handball division and home team of the Aix Arena, will meet Chambéry on October 11 for their first match in the new hall. After five years in an undersized hall the PAUC now has a new home, offering 6,000 seats in its handball configuration. The construction costs for the arena, which was built in just 29 months, tallied 51.9m euros.
