German Sustainability Award Architecture

On December 2, the German Sustainability Award – Architecture 2023 was awarded. We are very pleased to be recognised as one of the four finalists with our project "Extension of Starnberg District Office". Philipp Auer and Dominik Fahr accepted the award at the award ceremony held as part of the 15th German Sustainability Day in Düsseldorf. The focus of the competition, held for the 10th time this year, was the topic of transformation. A total of four finalists were nominated and recognised for their successful handling of existing structures. We congratulate this year's winner, Grüntuch Ernst Architekten, who came first with their project "Hotel Wilmina" in Berlin.

The renowned architecture prize for sustainable building projects is offered as one of eight competitions within the framework of the German Sustainability Award – the largest of its kind in Europe – and is awarded by the Stiftung Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis e.V. in cooperation with the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The award honours exemplary achievements in the construction sector that contribute to the shift to sustainable living and economic activity and which also demonstrate great innovativeness and high design quality. The setting for the award ceremony is the German Sustainability Day in Düsseldorf, the most visited annual communication platform on the topics of sustainable development.
