Badezentrum Sindelfingen
The extension of Badezentrum Sindelfingen swimming centre continues the qualities of the existing indoor pool from 1976 with its characteristic, self-supporting wooden roof, and offers swimming with a view of the countryside. The new building blends naturally into the existing topography. A large, unifying landscape roof accommodates the newly created areas of the family pool and the sauna world. Together with the existing buildings, it forms the spatial conclusion of the spacious outdoor pool area. The swimming pools are arranged linearly to form a coherent water world with the best possible outdoor access. This ensures that the building is easy to navigate.
