Bildungscampus – Campus Founders

This new entrepreneurship and innovation centre for startups will be built by 2024 based on an architectural competition won in 2019 immediately north of the institute and office tower. Here, directly at the central campus square, students will be inspired to think entrepreneurially and to start their own businesses. The appropriate framework is provided by freely usable floor areas, which are stacked on top of each other in a slightly displaced manner with generous outdoor terraces. An unclad steel ceiling structure, exposed concrete walls, floor-to-ceiling glazing, mastic asphalt floors and wood fixtures create a workshop feel. This opens up diverse scope, supports creative exchange and offers space for testing future forms and worlds of work. A total of seven floors create space for offices, co-working and event areas, interdisciplinary meeting places and catering facilities.
