Bildungscampus Heilbronn, Cafeteria

As part of the campus facilities, a new refectory with seating for more than 500 persons was created to accommodate the growing numbers of students. This space provides functional open areas and forms part of the newly developed topography at the centre of the campus. A through route divides the hill into two parts of different size. Beneath a multiply curved roof shell and adequately lighted by a courtyard, a lounge area was created for students in 2020 that is also open outside mealtimes. The forms and materials used in the refectory ensure an unmistakable learning environment on the campus.
