Bildungscampus – institute and office tower

The ten-storey high-rise building with a homogeneous light-coloured clinker facade occupies a special position within the educational campus. Located between Europaplatz and the central campus square, it serves as a landmark that is visible from afar and stands for Heilbronn's transformation from an industrial city to a city of knowledge. At the same time, through the juxtaposition of its many different users, it demonstrates on a small scale what the campus is on a large scale: a diverse interdisciplinary place of learning excellence. The School of Management at the Technical University of Munich is represented here, as are a Fraunhofer Institute, the Ferdinand Steinbeis Institute and the Dieter Schwarz Foundation. The interior of the high-rise is characterised by a restrained elegant interior with white walls and built-in furniture as well as oak parquet floors on all floors. Partially two-storey areas and large-scale glass elements create brightly-lit offices, seminar and meeting rooms, from which the view extends to the Heilbronn vineyards.
