Max Planck Institute Frankfurt
The Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysics lies in the centre of the 'Niederurseler Hang'-created campus of the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University. The three basic elements of the building are shaped according to their contents: the laboratories on the North side as row 'houses', the areas for theoretical work as scattered groups on horizontal 'decks' in the South, as well as the connecting hall, which serves as an orientation and communication space between the practical labs and theoretical work spaces.
