Palais Karmeliten by Regensburg Cathedral

The hotel which stood here, removed due to poor structural integrity, is replaced by a residential development, which captures the form and design characteristics of the original building. These include the distinctive curved building roofs toward Dachau square and the tall arches on the East façade of the building, which refer to the original entrance to a cinema. The façade and roof construction, planned after the historical model, strengthen the Palais Karmeliten as a supporting element of the Regensburg Old Town.
