Prevention center for BGW and VBG, Hamburg
Hamburg's HafenCity is set to receive another prominent addition at its eastern end: The Prevention Centre of the BGW and VBG trade associations, located next to the Freihafenelbbrücke, will become the new gateway to the city for train travellers from the south.
We see the tower and the base structure as a creative unit, which we combine into a monolithic, large-scale sculpture coloured in warm brick tones via a close-meshed, mineral facade.
